getting to the Ocean Hotel from Fishbourne

Turn right out of the ferry terminal and travel approximately ½ mile along the B3331. At the traffic signals turn left onto the A3054, signposted "Ryde". After ½ mile you will pass Quarr Abbey ruins on your left.

After another ½ mile go straight over the mini-roundabout into Binstead. You will pass the "Fleming Arms" on your right and reach another mini-roundabout after ¼ of a mile. Go staight on.

After ½ mile you will reach traffic signals. Go straight on into Pellhurst Road and then turn left at the next junction into Argyll Street, signposted "Through Traffic".

In approximately ½ mile you will reach another set of traffic signals. Go straight on onto the B3320, signposted "Sandown". At the next traffic signals go straight on into St Johns Road (B3330).

Go down the hill and over the railway bridge then up the other side. At the top of the hill turn right into Alexandra Road. The junction is on a left hand bend so beware traffic coming in the opposite direction.

After ¾ mile you will reach traffic signals at Westridge Cross, with a petrol station on your right. Turn right onto the A3055. In ½ mile take 2nd exit at roundabout.

After 1¾ miles you will reach a set of traffic signals. Go straight on and over the railway bridge.

After another ½ mile take 1st exit at the mini-roundabout leading you into Brading. Please be aware that the speed limit through Brading is 20mph. Bear left at the "Wheatsheaf" pub and then follow the road round to the right. In ½ mile go straight on over traffic signals at Yarbridge Crossroads.

After 1½ miles at the traffic signals follow the road round to the left underneath the railway bridge. At the mini-roundabout go straight on into Avenue Road (B3329), signposted "Town Centre".

In ½ mile take 2nd exit (right) at roundabout into Sandown High Street. The High Street entrance to the Ocean Hotel is on the left, just after Esplanade Road.

To get to the Hotel car park, continue up the High Street and just after the zebra crossing turn left into Pier Street. Follow the road round to the left onto Sandown Esplanade. The entrance to the car park is a short distance along the seafront, opposite the war memorial.
