getting to the Ocean Hotel from Yarmouth

Follow signs for "Newport" on the A3054 out of Yarmouth.

After 3 miles you will pass the "Horse and Groom" public house. In another 1 mile you will reach Shalfleet and pass the "New Inn". In approximately ¼ mile at the junction for Porchfield bear right then left.

In 5 miles you will reach the junction with the A3020. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit on to the A3020.

After ½ mile you will find yourself at Coppins Bridge Roundabout. Follow signs for Sandown A3020 (2nd Exit).

After a further ½ mile go straight ahead at the roundabout (1st exit).

In 1½ miles carry straight on at the Blackwater Junction.

Another 1½ miles further on at the junction for Merstone bear left.

After 2 miles you will pass the "White Lion" on your left in Arreton.

In 1½ miles you will pass the "Fighting Cocks Roadhouse" on your right and "Amazon World" on your left.

After approximately 1 mile you will find yourself in Apse Heath. Go straight on at the mini-roundabout.

After another 1 mile go straight ahead at the roundabout, passing Safeway on your left.

In 1 mile you will reach traffic signals at Lake, with "The Stag Inn" on your left. Turn left onto the A3055.

After ½ mile at the top of the hill go straight across the traffic signals, passing "The Heights Leisure Centre" on your left.

Take the 2nd right into Melville Street and follow it to the end. At the junction go straight ahead into Pier Street and follow the road round to the left onto Sandown Esplanade. The entrance to the car park is a short distance along the seafront, opposite the war memorial.
